BucksPropFest 2019 on 6th June in Aylesbury – Inaugural Event!
Walks-Talks-Champagne Reception @ Aylesbury Waterside Theatre.
BucksPropFest is a new event which draws together the very best of the regional property sector on a single day to look, see and hear about the key issues driving this exciting new market. Using the successful format designed by the enablers of the event, UK Property Forum, the event will start at 11.30amin the morning with a choice of two Walks options around Aylesbury town centre and greater Aylesbury exploring the new residential development sites, followed by informative Talks with more than 20 speakers involved with many of the key projects and companies from across the county of Buckinghamshire. Finally, we shall end the day with a Champagne Reception with Sir Anthony Seldon. Note that entry to the Walks is dependent upon having a ticket for the Talks and a day ticket includes Walks, Talks & Champagne Reception.
Walks Option One Squares, Exchanges, and Garden Towns Unique opportunity to walk around Aylesbury town central and experience the changing face of this town as new projects come on stream and regeneration projects come live. The walking tour will include The Exchange scheme, funded by the AVDC in partnership with the development partner, Durkan, which was opened recently, and partly funded by £3.3m of Local Growth Fund. The walk will include an overview of Market Square which has also recently been awarded a £4.5M package of improvements. These projects will form part of a central plan to develop the town as new communities and settlements are built around the town of Aylesbury. We shall also visit the David Bowie memorable to the singer who performed in Aylesbury in 1972 at the Friars Club.
Walks Option Two: Aylesbury Garden Town, RAF Halton & Wendover Bus trip which will include a visit to the new housing developments happening around Aylesbury including the 5000 homes planned as part of the Kingsbrook scheme and an overview of what the Garden Town concept means for Aylesbury. This will also include a visit to the Woodlands and Arla Development which form part of the Enterprise Zones initiative which leads the economic debate in north Buckinghamshire. (Subject to demand)
More than 20 speakers and panelists have now been booked to talk in four interactive sessions over the course of the afternoon covering the key issues of The Oxford – Cambridge Arc; Cluster of Clusters; Live, Work and Play the Bucks Way and Connected Bucks. Currently, we have 50+ attending and many companies engaged with the local property market representing developers, investors, and professional consultants. Each session will be an interactive opportunity to hear the key issues, respond and take forward some of the major issues affecting the county of Buckinghamshire.
The Champagne Reception will also be held at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre and will follow on from the talks, and will be an opportunity to network with the delegates and speakers involved with BucksPropFest.
